There are 3 different learning areas for you to work on every day.
Try to follow the instructions carefully and complete the tasks according to your learning pace!
Please be prepared to share some of your work during the end of the day Zoom meeting at 11:30 am with your teachers. Don't forget to upload at least one task on Tapestry for teachers to see how hard you've been working daily! Keep up the good work ๐
1) Key Ring Sight Words (Reading)
Learning Objectives (LO): ELG - Children read and understand simple sentences. They use phonic knowledge to decode regular words and read them aloud accurately. They also read some common irregular words. They demonstrate understanding when talking with others about what they have read.
It's Friday! Our time to review and practice our key ring sight words!
Are you ready?
Please find the right key ring numbers your child is working on below. Try to make up a sentence using the sight words if possible. Don't forget to check if your sentence makes sense!

2) Mathematics (SSM)
Learning Objectives (LO): ELG - Children use everyday language to talk about size, weight, capacity, position, distance, time and money to compare quantities and objects and to solve problems. They recognize, create and describe patterns. They explore characteristics of everyday objects and shapes and use mathematical language to describe them.
There are two different types of Maths activities. Please feel free to move from one star challenge to another depending on your mastery remembering what works best for you.
Don't forget that learning is fun ๐
Please download and work on Numbots daily if possible.

2D Shapes Guessing Game
Since we have practiced learning about properties of many 2D shapes, it is time for us to play 2D shape guessing game today!
Hide your 2D shapes or use your shape dice to play this game. Hide a shape and try your best to describe its properties to your parents or siblings. Make sure to explain how many sides and vertices (corners) the shape has! What more can you describe to give out the clue? You can also use words such as 'pointy' and 'round.'
Take turns guessing and describing the shapes. Have a look at the video of how your teachers played this game ๐
⭐⭐ - 2 Star Challenge:
Let's play 2D shape pattern truck game! Start from Level 1 truck. Look at the pattern and try to describe the shapes you see (number of sides, vertices, color, etc.). Choose a shape you think goes next in the pattern. Repeat playing the game!
