There are 3 different learning areas for you to work on every day.
Try to follow the instructions carefully and complete the tasks according to your learning pace!
Please be prepared to share some of your work during the end of the day Zoom meeting at 11:30 am with your teachers. Don't forget to upload at least one task on Tapestry for teachers to see how hard you've been working daily! Keep up the good work ๐
1) Literacy (Writing)
Learning Objectives (LO): Writing ELG - Children use their phonic knowledge to write words in ways which match their spoken sounds. They also write some irregular common words. They write simple sentences which can be read by themselves and others. Some words are spelt correctly and others are phonetically plausible.
Let's practice writing simple words and sentences!
Have a look at the picture below:
What can you see at the beach?
Look and make your lovely sentences using this picture๐ -ng
Picture 2 ( Making and writing a sentence )-ng
What can you see in the picture? What do you see? What is happening?
Attempt to sound out and write down some things (words) you see in the picture.
If you can, start making and writing your sentences with "I can see..."
Don't forget Big letter (Capital letter), Finger Spacing, and Kung Fu Punch (Full Stop) at the end of each sentence!

2) Mathematics (SSM)
Learning Objectives (LO): Children count reliably with numbers from one to 20, place them in order and say which number is one more or one less than a given number. Using quantities and objects, they add and subtract two single-digit numbers and count on or back to find the answer. They solve problems, including doubling, halving and sharing.
There are two different types of Maths activities. Please feel free to move from one star challenge to another depending on your mastery remembering what works best for you.
Don't forget that learning is fun ๐
Please download and work on Numbots daily if possible.

3) Earth Day
As we have discussed during our phonics session, today is Earth Day! It is April 22nd!
Let's read a story The Messy Magpie together to learn about how we can look after the environment on our planet Earth ๐
What are some ways we can look after our planet Earth? Can you think of different ways to take care of our environment?
Let's make your own poster to remind everyone how important it is to keep our Earth healthy and clean ๐ What message would you like to put on your poster?
Do you want to remind that we should not litter and throw trash in the bin? Should we recycle?
What else can we do to help our Earth?
Be creative!
Here are some examples for you to get started:
Lastly, planting is one of helpful ways to keep trees and plants around us.
Have a look at how Ms.Anji planted her pineapples and indoor plants with the pot and soil.
If you have some seeds from fruits/vegetables or any plants,
try to plant them at home and see if they start growing ๐ Enjoy!
