There are 3 different learning areas for you to work on every day.
Try to follow the instructions carefully and complete the tasks according to your learning pace!
Please be prepared to share some of your work during the end of the day Zoom meeting at 11:30 am with your teachers. Don't forget to upload at least one task on Tapestry for teachers to see how hard you've been working daily! Keep up the good work 😊
1) Home Readers (Reading)
Learning Objectives (LO): 40-60+ Uses vocabulary and forms of speech that are increasingly influenced by their experiences of books. Enjoys an increasing range of books. Knows that information can be retrieved from books and computers. ELG - Children read and understand simple sentences. They use phonic knowledge to decode regular words and read them aloud accurately. They also read some common irregular words. They demonstrate understanding when talking with others about what they have read.
Children are expected to read daily if possible but we will follow our usual homework schedule of Home Readers (Mondays/Wednesdays). Children to read to their parents/guardians, stuffed animals or pets. Please visit Oxford Owl for free eBooks that link to your child's book band. You can create a free account.

Traffic Light Game
Let’s play a game!
Red, Yellow, and Green Lights
Red Light, Green Light is a great group game for getting children moving and encouraging them to listen to instructions. You can use key words such as 'stop, slow and go' to play this game.
You can use red, yellow and green color papers to help make the game more fun as well.
Follow our simple instruction on how to play the game.
Red means “stop” or stop moving.
Yellow means “slow down” or walk slowly.
Green means “go” or walk fast.
What does each color mean? How many colors are in traffic lights? What are traffic lights for?
Try calling out each color and see how quick you can change your actions!
