PE challenge from Mr. Russell

Good morning Reception I hope you have had a lovely holiday and are ready to start something new and a little bit different. Below is a quick video to say hi and what we are going to be doing until we can all be back together again at school.

The main thing to remember is that I would like you to do a minimum of 30 minutes exercise each day but you can do an hour or more if you wish.

Now that you have seen me again here is a link to your first workout that I would like you to follow along to. It is series of simple exercises with little breaks in between them.

For your weekly challenge this week you will need an open space and a towel and only takes 30 seconds. Your challenge is to see how many 2 footed jumps over the towel you can do in 30 seconds.
Each day you should challenge yourself to do more jumps and the more you practice the better you will get.
Below is an image of what to do, count each time you land over the towel (the towel is used instead of the cone) see who can do the most in your family.

I will do the challenge as well and let you know how I am doing.

If you have any questions or problems please just let me know on the email address below.

Good luck and speak to you all again tomorrow
